Elizabeth C. Lense, DDS, MSHA

Elizabeth Lense serves as the State Dental Director of Georgia. She completed her residency in Dental Public Health at CDC, was Director of the Pediatric Dental Center at Hughes Spalding Children’s Hospital, and was an Asst. Professor of Pediatrics at Emory and Morehouse Schools of Medicine. Dr. Lense served as President of the Board of Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition and is a member of the Hispanic Health Coalition, Georgia Dental Association, Georgia Dental Society, and Georgia Public Health Association. Dr. Lense graduated with Highest Honors from Emory University School of Dentistry. She completed a residency in Oral Pathology at Emory and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Oral Maxillofacial Pathology. She received her MS degree in Healthcare Administration from Georgia State University.
